Originating in the Middle Ages, Christmas markets in Germany boast a history of 700 to 800 years. To allow Taiwanese to experience the rich festive atmosphere of this long-standing tradition, the German Trade Office Taipei has been hosting the German Christmas Market at New Taipei City’s Christmasland since 2021. The market offers aromatic mulled wine, crispy and delicious German sausages, exquisite traditional desserts, along with a dazzling array of German handicrafts and holiday goods, bringing warmth and comfort to the chilly winter days! In addition to browsing the market, visitors can enjoy a variety of stage events, including hands-on DIY activities, Christmas carol performances, and the ever-popular Santa Claus meet-and-greet that delights both children and adults.
