【New Taipei City News】New Taipei’s annual Christmas City, which generates buzz online year after year, is joining forces with the internationally popular IP “LINE FRIENDS & LINE FRIENDS minini” this year to present the largest-ever circus carnival scene, featuring the most mechanical dynamic installations to date. The attractions are spread across four major themed lighting zones: the “Starlight Circus Park” at New Taipei City Plaza, the “European Dream Fairy Tale Village” at Banqiao Station Square, the “minini Snack Bar” at Wanping Park, and the “LINE FRIENDS Adventure Playground” at Fuzhong Shopping Area, together illuminating Taiwan’s most joyful and whimsical winter circus carnival!

The highlight of Christmas City this year is the main lantern, transformed into the joyful “Fun Circus Tent”. On the red-and-white circus stage, LINE FRIENDS dressed in playful outfits make an adorable appearance, surrounded by colorful triangular flags, bringing visitors endless fun and surprises—making it the ultimate photo spot in Christmas City. The city hall’s first-floor lobby is also a must-visit, completely transformed into a circus-themed area. At the center, Brown’s Adventure Express invites everyone to board the Christmas sleigh hot air balloon for a whimsical journey, while Lenini, Cony, and Sally greet every guest on either side, creating the perfect interactive and playful space. In addition, at the South Square of Banqiao Station on the Circular MRT Line, the Christmas Elf Circus Party features a dazzling Christmas elf symphony performance installation. Dynamic lighting and interactive displays perfectly combine with cheerful Christmas music, creating a vibrant and enchanting circus festive atmosphere that’s truly worth experiencing.


This year, the Banqiao Station Square has been transformed into the “European Dream Fairy Tale Village,” making visitors feel as if they’ve stepped into a storybook! Vintage European-style houses sparkle under the lights, while the streets are filled with a romantic and whimsical atmosphere. At the center stands the “Magical Clock Tower,” woven from gift boxes and ribbons, becoming the most eye-catching centerpiece. As time passes, mysterious gift boxes surprise visitors by opening, revealing the adorable LINE FRIENDS minini characters, accompanied by falling snowflakes, immersing everyone in the enchanting world of a snowy fairy tale.

At Wanping Park’s “minini Snack Bar,” every corner exudes a sweet and joyful vibe, offering countless photo opportunities. Visitors are invited to embark on whimsical adventures alongside LINE FRIENDS minini characters, creating unforgettable memories. Meanwhile,Fuzhong Shopping Area is themed as the “LINE FRIENDS Adventure Playground,” a lively space full of laughter and fun. Cute LINE FRIENDS characters become the stars of the amusement park, enjoying classic rides such as teacups, ferris wheels, roller coasters, and carousels, spreading festive cheer throughout. At the plaza entrance, “Choco’s Christmas Castle” warmly welcomes guests, inviting everyone to step into a dreamlike world brimming with laughter, joy, and the most delightful Christmas atmosphere.

In addition to the must-see installations, this year a total of 22 LINE FRIENDS and LINE FRIENDS minini characters will gather at the The 2025 Christmasland in New Taipei City, joining the festivities and adding to the joyful atmosphere. From Friday, November 14, to Wednesday, December 3, the “LINE FRIENDS & LINE FRIENDS minini Treasure Hunt Stamp Collection” event will also take place. Visitors who collect all 12 hidden characters across the four main light zones can join a lucky draw with exciting prizes, including an iPhone 17, round-trip tickets to Hong Kong, and exclusive LINE FRIENDS merchandise.
