【New Taipei City News】The “2025 Christmasland in New Taipei City” recently kicked off in grand style, themed this year as a “Circus Carnival,” immediately sparking widespread excitement! Not only has New Taipei City Plaza transformed into the surprise-filled “Starlight Circus Park” light zone, but the nearby Fuzhong Shopping Area light zone also takes center stage as the “LINE FRIENDS Adventure Playground,” featuring popular LINE FRIENDS characters like Brown, Cony, and Leonard, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the colorful and joyful Christmas atmosphere. Simultaneously, the Fuzhong Weekend Market showcases a combination of creative stalls and street performances, creating a festive, artsy winter gathering that infuses Fuzhong with abundant Christmas energy.


This year, the highlight of the Fuzhong Plaza light zone, “LINE FRIENDS Adventure Playground,” is undoubtedly the “Choco’s Christmas Castle,” where a giant Cony sits majestically, greeting every visitor with the cutest pose. The light zone also features dreamy installations such as the “Starlight Carousel,” “Joyful Roller Coaster,” and “LINE FRIENDS Ferris Wheel of Joy,” immersing visitors in a magical LINE FRIENDS wonderland. Among them, the most romantic attraction is the “Winter Snowland,” where LINE FRIENDS characters transform into coffee cups. From 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM each evening, a snow show occurs every half hour, with snowflakes falling amid sparkling lights, instantly becoming a popular photo spot and filling the plaza with enchanting Christmas magic!


As the winter festive season approaches, the “2025 Christmasland in New Taipei City” has created a brand-new Christmas hub in the Fuzhong shopping area, featuring a creative market and street performances. The activities take place every Saturday and Sunday during the event period, with the market open from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, offering a wide variety of themed stalls and creative brands, including snacks, original handicrafts, trendy fashion, and festive gifts!Additionally, Fuzhong Plaza transforms into a festive stage, with live music performances and street artists from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM each weekend, allowing visitors to enjoy shows while savoring food and drinks, creating a leisurely and cozy winter afternoon. Each weekend also features special festive activities, including interactive Christmas games, DIY experiences, and surprise appearances by Santa Claus, immersing children and families in a lively and heartwarming holiday atmosphere and creating a dedicated weekend party for Fuzhong.The site also includes a “Christmas Wishing Tree,” inviting visitors to write down their holiday wishes and blessings. On November 22 (Saturday) and December 20 (Saturday) from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM, the YOYO Family performers will lead interactive dances, welcoming everyone to join in the fun on site!


New Taipei City Tourism and Travel Department stated that it hopes the market and street performances will help boost foot traffic and consumer activity in the Fuzhong shopping area, while also creating more family-friendly and arts-inclusive public spaces.
