The seamless interplay of lights and music surrounds the entire plaza, delivering an unprecedented, awe-inspiring immersive experience for all visitors.

Main Light Show

The annual Christmas light show, a perennial source of wonder and delight, continues to lead Taiwan’s 3D projection scene. This year, the New Taipei City Hall façade will be enhanced with high-saturation laser line effects, while colorful wall-wash lighting on the building’s sides creates a radiant glow. When synchronized with the main light show, the entire structure transforms into a grand, unified spectacle - marking the most immersive and largest-scale light performance in the city’s history!

The marketplace is dressed in bold red-and-white stripes, evoking the lively look of a circus tent and radiating pure carnival joy. Rows of colorfully decorated containers line up to form festive market streets, creating a bustling and cheerful scene. As night falls, exterior lighting brings the striped façades to life, filling the area with brilliant colors and excitement - inviting everyone to step into a merry little circus town!

Christmas Elf Circus Party

As night falls, South Square awakens to a performing tree - not an ordinary Christmas tree, but a theater called - the Christmas Elf Circus Party. A golden-red bow glows at its heart, like a host’s first cheerful “Welcome!”

The small townhouses at the tree’s base transform its roots into walk-in scenes: warm yellow light spills through arched windows, and inside are interactive corners perfect for photos, letting visitors feel like they’ve stepped into a Christmas story. On the side spiral staircase, a Christmas elf occasionally appears, descending to greet guests in rhythm - playful and mischievous, turning even the waiting moments into part of the performance.

At scheduled times, the square pulses like a gently drummed beat. The tree doors rotate open, stage-like backdrops slide out, and the elf band in the tree’s heart comes alive - some spinning, some raising hands to strike the rhythm - mechanically precise yet lifelike. Premium stage sound fills the air with familiar Christmas melodies, and beams of light dance across the night sky, naturally turning the crowd into a chorus. At the grand finale, white snow gently falls, like a signature on every visitor’s shoulder: tonight, you’ve been here, and your joy has been captured.

When night falls, a giant gift box lights up the city with a single glow. Its three-tiered structure creates a striking sense of perspective; a shining bow high above draws eyes toward the Wonderland Tree at South Square. The moment you step through the archway, everyday life switches to party mode: you arrive - and the wonderland awakens. With each step, your mood begins to shine.

Enchanted Bubble Tower

The Enchanted Bubble Tower is an immersive light theatre you can walk through, linger in, and interact with. The Christmas Candy House transforms traditional Christmas elements (candy, snowmen, stars, Christmas trees) into a stage you can step into, making visitors more than spectators; they become part of the story. With openings on three sides, the house resembles an open fairy-tale stage, letting every passerby naturally enter and experience the magic of “stepping inside a storybook.”

Kaleidoscope of Mirrors

The Kaleidoscope of Mirrors is an immersive installation that allows passing through, lingering, and interactive photo opportunities. Using arches as its design language, it transforms the entrance of the block into a “Festival Gateway,” also functioning as a walkable light-and-shadow town.

At its core is a mirrored Christmas tree placed within the arch. It reflects the surrounding colorful graffiti and lights, as well as each visitor’s silhouette, turning observers into part of the installation and leaving a unique Christmas memory.

Sky Track Gift Train

The 2nd East Gate Square is more than just an exit. Here, we let greetings and blessings take flight with a “high-altitude gift train” suspended above the city. Through music and motion, the winter night is not just sparkling - it’s racing. This is not a static photo spot but the sky artery of the entire Christmas party. The train, like a carousel’s track, carries festive motifs and gift-shaped designs. When it starts, children gasp, adults smile, cameras rise - and the joy truly moves.

Starlit Promenade

In the quiet corners of the city, we’ve laid a glowing walking path for winter nights. The Starlit Promenade is a gentle, poetic journey in light, formed by a series of golden arches and hanging stars, allowing pedestrians to step out of the everyday and into a softly illuminated world.

Polar Time Train

Step aboard the Polar Time Train and embark on a magical journey filled with the festive spirit of Christmas. As night falls, glowing lights illuminate the streets - and from within the magician’s hat, adorable animals begin to peek out! The playful installation brings a sense of wonder and delight, inviting everyone to step into a whimsical world of Christmas magic.

Show Frequency: Features a built-in mechanical system. Objects inside the hat rise from the base to the top, pause for 40 seconds, then descend again. Each full cycle lasts about 70 seconds (with a 30-second lifting motion).
