Christmasland Opening Event

Everyone is invited to join the opening event. Let’s light up the themed Christmas tree, the lighting devices surrounding City Hall. With the gorgeous lighting show, 2024 New Taipei City Christmasland launches officially.

A Playful Fantasy Tour of the Lin Family Garden

Magical Projecting Mapping Show will utilize the images of the Lin Family Garden as its theme. Through the introduction by two characters, Xiaofang and Ajia, visitors will experience “time travel” with the show.

Fantasy Costume Kids’ Festival

Diverse creative markets will be on every weekend, including Christmas Rock & Roll party, Little Fairies music festival, DIY activities, magic carnival, and YOYO family celebrity meeting. From December 21st to 22nd, there will be special Christmas marathon booths and discounts. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the weekend here.

“World Master Games Challenge”: New Taipei City Awesome Teammates Magical Sports Party

Live broadcast of WBSC Premier 12 (World Baseball Softball Confederation—Premier 12) with the elements of 2025 World Master Games—Taipei City & New Taipei City, the party combines Christmas magical elements and includes several activities, such as New Taipei City Team meeting, autograph session, brand promotion booths, and parent-child sports activities.

Fantasy Costume Kids’ Festival

Utilizing parent-child interactive activities, stage performances to warm-up, the Fantasy Costume Kids’ Festival is launched the very first time. This event brings together hundreds of children, staff, and performers to dress up and participate in a grand parade around New Taipei City Plaza. It will be filled with a carnival atmosphere and several famous brands are invited to set up booths. Visitors can experience cute and fun Christmas markets here

2024 New Taipei City Christmas Party—Fairytale Story House

Fairytale Story House is the theme of 2024 New Taipei City Christmas Party. Well-known stories, souvenirs, local delicacies and tourist factories are all gathered here. The most distinctive New Taipei City Christmas blessings will be passed on to everyone. Besides, interactive performances and music performances will also be presented here during the three days.

Magical Happy Christmas Party for pets

With a focus on pet health, the largest free pet clinic section will be set up at Magical Happy Christmas Party for pets. Pet caring concepts and government policies will be emphasized at the party. Government policies promote pets’ health and the development of pets’ heath industry. Through the activities, pets’ owners can understand better about their pets’ needs and improve the relationships between pets and owners.

Magical Dream German Christmas Market

Magical Dream German Christmas Market, organized by the German Trade Office, will once again make its way to New Taipei City this year. Working collaboratively with the renowned New Taipei City Christmasland, the market will be arranged from December 6th to 8th at New Taipei City Plaza! We hope to bring the traditional German Christmas Party at the center of New Taipei City. You can experience delicious German delicacies such as gingerbread, stollen, mulled wine, bratwurst and beer; additionally, you can also buy German ornaments, toys, kitchen utensils and gifts here. Join us for a special German style Christmas.

2024 New Taipei Christmas Party-Angel Fantasy Night

With the theme of Christmas, we organize a Charity bazaar and a Christmas Eve party. There is also a choir of 100 people praying for good news, praying for the citizens, and sharing the joy of the Christmas season.

Chasing Christmas—New Taipei City Christmas marathon relay

“Chasing Christmas—New Taipei City Christmas Marathon Relay” is one of the main events of New Taipei City Christmasland. Continuing the spirit of the "chasing" in train chasing, it encourages runners to team up and travel around New Taipei in a running-traveling style. Combined with Christmas elements, and is full of the happy atmosphere of Christmas, it will be the most exciting, joyful and fun road running event at the end of this year! Each team has 5 members, and each member is responsible for 5 to 6 kilometers. It is more applicable for the public and light runners to participate. The event will start on December 22nd, 2024. With the new theme, the new plan and the new competition, the Relay is divided into two categories: “Competition Group” and “Fantasy Costume Group”. Everyone is welcome!

Christmas Charity Flee Market

Flee Market provides citizens with a platform to utilize secondhand goods. Making recycling possible, the income from those secondhand goods will be used for charity. Let us participate in “joyful recycling and sustainable love”. Christmas Charity Flee market has entered its 10th year and all income from this market will be used for “New Taipei City Good Day & Love Platform”. It not only extends the lifespan for secondhand goods but also is good for our environment and charity. There will be repair experts from sanitation teams fixing secondhand items, such as bicycles, ovens, rice cookers, fans, small appliances, musical instruments, toys, and dolls. Numbers of private business companies and groups such as 3490 Rotary District, Xinyi House Co., Toyota Co., and Ambassador Theatres also provide secondhand goods for this market.
